Our Target Markets

Summary

In general, we are targeting the business-to-business (b2b) and business-to-consumer (b2c) market segments. Specifically, we are targeting individuals and groups by occupation, and their interests in the karaoke music entertainment industry. Our target markets include singers, songwriters, musicians, CDG publishers, karaoke jockeys, karaoke venues, event producers, karaoke industry suppliers and karaoke performance patrons. We are also targeting individuals and business enterprises by geographic region as defined by the US Department of Bureau and Labor Statistics.

We encourage all members to build their business opportunities by concentrating on spheres of influence and core competencies.

Because karaoke is a form of entertainment often associated with the hospitality and tourism trade, we also encourage members to concentrate on building business through participation in those organizations most likely to influence tourism events.

Geographic Markets

New Mexico

To assist our New Mexico members in implementing their marketing plans effectively, we have divided our target markets into the same geographic boundaries used by the New Mexico Department of Labor. They are:

  • Albuquerque MSA*
  • Las Cruces MSA*
  • Santa Fe MSA*
  • Northeast
  • Southeast
  • Southwest
  • Northwest

    Beyond New Mexico

While we are based in New Mexico, we recognize that our statewide market reach will not enable us to achieve the momentum necessary to drive our organization forward on a national scale. Therefore, we are regionalizing our geographic marketing efforts. Click here for regional information.

*MSA stands for Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area. The US Department of Commerce, Office of Federal Statistical Policy and Standards designates MSAs in each state based on standard criteria, i.e. population count, economic and social integration. This is done to help government agencies in administering federal programs.
